[English Translation]

Following the band’s 20th anniversary, NONA REEVES has released their first original album in two years. The groovy pop songs that bear the allure of the 80s are played out with no hesitation, and the band makes an impressive approach to synth boogie in a way that seems to be a response to Tuxedo or Dam Funk in some numbers, such as “Konya wa Let’s Dance! (meaning Tonight, Let’s Dance),” the collaboration track with Kaseki Cider (hip hop artist/rapper/lyricist/manga artist). The sweetness in the AOR ballad “Crybaby” written by Kiyoshi “KC” Matsuo (producer/lyricist/composer) is really divine, too.
