[English Translation]
This is the sequel to “program music I” (2007), the epic composed in the motif of “Night on the Galactic Railroad” (classic Japanese fantasy novel by Kenji Miyazawa) and “Run, Melos!” (classic Japanese short story by Osamu Dazai), and is produced highly focusing on live-play throughout, welcoming musicians such as Jimanica (drummer) or a cellist amongst many others. Kashiwa got the inspiration from the book [Suisho Sanmyaku (meaning Crystal Mountains)], the collection of collages of mineral photography and illustrations by Shigeru Tamura (, and the artwork on the sleeve is chosen from the collection). This is a post-classical collection in which the beautiful melodies rising from the tranquil air create a spectacle as if seen through crystal.
