[English Translation]
Hajime Yoshizawa "Inner Illusions"

Though a pianist/keyboardist Hajime Yoshizawa has been giving live performances in units recently such as BOOT, a three-member unit consisting of a bassist, a drummer and himself, or his own group Yoshizawa Hajime Trio, and also worked with a two-piece unit orange pekoe on their album "Oriental Jazz Mode," he’s not been released his album for six years since his trio with his uncle Peter Erskine released "Hajime." His new album "Inner Illusions" is made up with oldtime-crossover flavored tracks including “Darknight (moonshine),” a night-scenic mellow tune mixing the warmth of rhodes piano sound with a beauteous chorus, and a house song “Many things to worry...”. The AOR (Adult-Oriented Rock = Adult Contemporary)-esque vocal track sung by himself is an emotional nice piece with a human touch.
