Quruli "THE PIER"

Works by Quruli have been multicultural and have never been defined by the time.  However, the diversity represented in the new album is unprecedented, as if it was like a soundtrack to a SF film about a travel to a parallel universe.  What gives you the definite image is the opening track "2034."  Starting with the mixture of exotic-tinged classic music and electronics that provides a unique futuristic image, the album tells the story of music journey from the present to the past and from Eastern Europe to Latin America.  It also can be referred to as a journey to retrieve one's identity in the increasingly science-fictionalized world. "Liberty&Gravity," a work song rooted in a local community in Japan which was reborn as a danceable four-on-the-floor song, appears to suggest such a theme as well.
