The [Wonder Ground] style of lyrical school!!
Japanese female hip hop idol group lyrical school's album "SPOT", released in March, showcased their remarkable development in tight mic skills. The 6-piece unit had their first nationwide tour for the album and performed at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO, one of the largest shows for them. These activities indicate they have successfully advanced to the next stage as an idol and a rap unit. They took part in the tribute album for PIZZICATO FIVE (Japanese pop group) produced by Yasuharu Konishi (Japanese musician, composer and DJ). Yumi made a guest appearance on the new release from ESNO (solo project of Japanese musician Kenichiro Nishihara). What's more, it has been announced that they will perform at Tokyo Idol Festival (TIF) for 3 consecutive years. In addition to these attention-grabbing activities, their new single "Wonder Ground" comes as another gem!
The title track is a first time collaboration with SUI, known as MURO's right hand man who co-produced Momoiro Clover Z's rap tune "5 The POWER" with him. The passionately appealing backing track interspersed with disco phrases combined with the slightly romantic lyrics by Japanese rapper LITTLE, wrings your heart! The coupling track "Avec Summer" is a West Coast hip hop-tinged smooth funk composed by a person named Donald Trample. Including the mic-relay by the 6 with loose 'Hey! Ho!'s in between, it gives you the best comfort in this summer. This single is a must-listen!
