[MONO-EYE] - the branch-off edition

First off is the latest release of “PSYCHO-PASS: The Movie”, a popular SF series about conflicts of a controlled systemized society. The new setting is a foreign land in wartime, where valiant protagonists keep their faith as they fight, racked by the army and guerrilla agendas. Strong tracks by Kanno Yugo will grasp your heart with profound orchestra that matches the world of “PSYCHO-PASS.”
Fates even more intense cross over in the television anime series of “THE HEROIC LEGEND OF ARSLAN”, a fantasy saga of wartimes by Hiromu Arakawa and Yoshiki Tanaka. Sexual references are subdued compared to the original video animation/movie edition created in the 90s, but the entire edition has mind-blowing quality using the latest CG techniques in battle scenes. A strong structured master piece!
The last is a web animation “Wake Up, Girl ZOO!” a spinoff of the idol movie “Wake Up Girls!” scheduled for its premiere this September. A care-free comedy where all the characters disguised as animals frolic around, and, their cuteness is definitely relaxing to the mind. You’ll want to sing along to the theme song brought to you by Kuniyuki Takahashi of MONACA, the animation sound creators!
