The second release from the Tokyo-based foursome delivering robust and solid live performances of hip hop or funk sounds, juiced up with joyous party tones. The album welcomes sound producer Tatsuki Masuko (also active member of trance/rock band ROVO and dub/drum'n'bass/digital rock unit DUB SQUAD) as the engineer, and while the groove generated by the band at the one-shot recording is vividly trapped in the whole piece, they have also significantly strengthened the 'pop'ish impression by composing the tracks with a narrowed-down number of notes. From "Shonen to Ki (meaning The Boy and the Tree)" fusing hardcore and ska sounds, to the mellow love song "Black Coffee", keep your eye (or ear) out for the vocal sense of Shingen Mori, skilfully and emotionally varying his vocal expressions depending on the tone of each song.
