昨年6月に発表された初ミニ・アルバムが瞬く間に話題となった、京都を拠点とする女子3人と男子ひとりのバンド、Homecomings。結成からわずか1年で〈フジロック〉への出演も果たした彼女たちが、さらにその評価を決定づける会心のEPを完成させた。トゥイー・ポップ的な甘酸っぱいメロディーが疾走する表題曲はもちろん、カップリングにマグネティック・フィールズのカヴァーを入れるセンスの良さにもグッとくる。

3 girls and 1 boy form this Kyoto-based band Homecomings, of whom first mini-album released last June achieved exciting publicity in a twinkle. The group who found themselves landed on a stage at Fuji Rock, one of the largest music festivals in Japan, in only one year from forming the band, has proudly completed another EP that may simply reconsolidate the already established high acclaims. Beginning with the title track with a sprinting sweet-sour twee pop melody, the selection proves the band's general refined taste, also verified in their selection of a cover of The Magnetic Fields song as the coupling track. Pretty impressive!
