Tomggg and Utena Kobayashi announced as first artists to release albums from new label by 2.5 PRODUCTION this May. Songs from the albums unveiled and currently available online!

2.5 PRODUCTIONS, the creators’ collective that acts as artist management agency/label and also known for running [2.5D], the ‘social TV station’ (that broadcasts/live-streams original contents online and from the 2.5D Studio in the famous PARCO building of Shibuya) has launched a new label. The first couple of artists to be making releases from this new label are Tomggg and Utena Kobayashi, ―both to drop new albums simultaneously on May 18th. A track each from their new albums are currently available on SoundCloud to listen.
Tomggg who already enjoys a steady international fan base will be releasing “Art Nature,” the first collection of new material to be made available since his debut EP “Butter Sugar Cream” released last year. The song on SoundCloud ―“Tick Tock Skip Drop”― reveals the simply fantastic chemistry with Bonjour Suzuki who was invited as the guest writer and vocalist, and the rollercoasting fairy tale-like sounds exhibits a next-to-nothing perfect match with the whispering voice of Bonjour Suzuki. tsvaci（Miho Tsujibayashi, singer-songwriter） also appears on the album while Mili (music production unit) undertakes the remixing of the piece.
In the meantime, Utena Kobayashi has been enjoying favorable reception with her impressive support works for D.A.N. (minimal-mellow club-sound band), Oh Shu (singer-songwriter) or Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra. “EN”, recorded on her first ever album “VATONSE” of which Seiho (DJ/producer) served as mastering engineer, is an atmospheric and sensual number with deep bass sounds squirming around. Added to her own spiritual vocals that also function as part of the sounds of the song, the song makes for a pleasant listen that reminds one of FKA Twigs, but let’s see how the whole album turns out.
Note that following the above 2 artists, PARKGOLF (Sapporo-based producer) will also be making a release from this label, and a party to celebrate the new launch will be held on Friday, May 8th at Red Bull Studio Tokyo Hall.
