Guitar Wolf releases new music video of “T-REX FROM A TINY SPACE YOJOUHAN”, the howling rock’n’roll title track from their newest album

GUITAR WOLF, the Japanese garage rock band will be releasing their newest album in 3 years, “T-REX FROM A TINY SPACE YOJOUHAN” on May 11th. From the album, the music video of the title track has been publicly released.

The track kicks off with roaring guitars and howls much like a disturbed dinosaur, and combined with this classic rock’n’roll-ness are the unique lyrics singing “(lit.) T-Rex / Lives in the tiny space of yojouhan / When should we break down the walls? / I’m contemplating that right now”, making this number a great killer tune that comes with their usual twist. The music video was directed by Tetsurou Takeuchi known for serving as director of many other Guitar Wolf music videos, and the 3 members playing and ‘doing their things’ in their ‘formal attire’ are simply both laughable and outrageous! According to the band, this latest is their ‘Back-to-Basics –The Blasting Album’, and sure enough, the decibels do seem to be rather on the high side, and given the seemingly increased level of power injected, it is a piece to be hotly anticipated.

Guitar Wolf members surprised music fans by unexpectedly appearing in the TV commercial of a Kirin beverage last year, and next year, the band will be celebrating their 30th year since forming. Their official tour for the new album starts this June. Fan or not, any music listener is recommended to come and see this veteran band to twist and shout to their great rock’n’roll.
