DJ misoshiru & MC gohan is a Japanese musician (solo, despite the name) who draws attention as "Gochisong DJ" for a cooking program of NHK Educational TV as well. Her first major album also focuses on 'food,' the main theme of her activities. The light soul-flavored title track with a touch of Shibuya-kei music and the self-produced colorful beats connect well with her old-school-style rapping, making the album a quality pop piece. In addition to Nemu Yumemi (Japanese female idol from Dempagumi.inc) and SHINCO (DJ of Japanese hip-hop group Scha Dara Parr), the guest appearance of NORIKIYO (Japanese hip hop MC/beatmaker) is a nice surprise.
