Second album from the laid-back hip hop group THE OTOGIBANASHI, known from its music video of "POOL" posted online in 2012, and its debut album "TOY BOX" released the following year, is fully packed with their signature classy atmosphere and popness. Their 'popness' is probably derived from 'déjà entendu.' Of course, this doesn't mean the album is a retread of an earlier work. It has originality and excitement as with their previous works. The déjà entendu here means an enigmatic pleasure provided by the sounds you may have heard somewhere before or as a child. They assimilated those into their musical world to recompile tracks and raps, tapestries of sounds that tap into the deep recesses of listeners' mind. This may be the reason the album has a pop but somewhat creepy feel.
