The 1975が、デビューアルバム『The 1975』（2013年）の発売10周年を記念した限定商品を2023年9月1日（金）にリリースする。
発売されるのは、『The 1975』と4枚のEP（『Facedown』『Sex』『Music For Cars』『IV』）を収録した4LPデラックスエディション、『The 1975』と今年2月1日に英マンチェスターのライブハウス（Gorilla）で行われたアルバム再現ライブの音源を収録した2CD、そして『The 1975』の2LPとカセットの計4形態。
セルフタイトル作である『The 1975』は、2013年9月1日にリリースされ、レコーディングはリバプールで行われた。マイク・クロッシー、そしてメンバーのマシュー・ヒーリーとジョージ・ダニエルによる共同プロデュースで、全英アルバムチャートでは初登場1位を獲得。全英ではダブルプラチナ認定、全米でもプラチナ認定されている。
昨年〈SUMMER SONIC 2022〉のヘッドライナーを務めたのち、同年10月には最新アルバム『Being Funny In A Foreign Language』をリリース、今年4月には単独でのジャパンツアーを成功させたばかりのThe 1975。彼らの活動の原点を、この機会に改めて体験しよう。
