夏感満載の“Never Say No”を経て、7曲目“Thank You DISCO!!!”

[English Translation]
Prominent rock band, the telephones’ last original album before going on indefinite hiatus. After the dormant announcement, the greatest hits collection “BEST HIT the telephones” reached us first, but then one more, this finale hereby proves their way-too-big loyalty as you will see the true intention when you finish listening to the whole. Furnished with a sweet romantic synthesizer and multi-gifted member/songwriter Akira Ishige’s self-reflective lyrics, the album has a fairly mellow start sincerely delivering current states of mind such as painful struggles, frustrations and firm determinations against obstacles. After the fully summery “Never Say No” , the shout finally emerges on track #7, ”Thank you DISCO!!!”. Toward the latter, their usual make-us-dance-like-crazy happy simple words, bassline and heartbreaking melodies exactly embody the telephones themselves as one music lover, and that simply makes me cry. No mentioning of the word in any tunes on the second half, but I shall await the comeback of fabulous 4 howling tons of once again.
