URBANGARDE "Showa 90

Their 7th album is the first concept album that portrays a parallel world where freedom of speech was restricted in wartime Japan, containing 11 tracks with overloads of information and chaotically diversified arrangements. While featuring epic and impressive songs such as the 9-plus-minute, rock opera-inspired "Showa Kyuju-nen Juni-gatsu (meaning December in Showa 90)" and "Heisei Shibo Yugi (meaning Heisei Death Game)" in which an interview by Go Yoshida with an idol is inserted, many of the songs on the album can also be enjoyed strictly as catchy pop songs, making it all the more attractive.
