Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra’s Ska Me Forever
The band’s 25th anniversary album begins with their newly-recorded “Peddlers”, a Russian folk song they covered in the first album. Keeping their trademark energetic instrumental tunes, the album also features sophisticated vocal tracks, collaborated songs with other Japanese rock bands, Mongol800, 10-Feet and Asian Kung-Fu Generation, as well as the rare-case major classic covers such as The Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven. Instead of seeking for maturity, the band keeps going wild, maintaining their curiosity for always challenging something new. This is the album that conveys the essence of what Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has achieved in the past quarter century.
