harineko, the currently-solo-project by Sachi (vocalist/keyboardist/singer-songwriter from Hokkaido and the former vocalist/keyboardist when the unit used to be a threesome,) has proudly completed her first full-length album. Centered around the smooth melody line she skilfully weaves, the album unfurls highly improvisational ensembles performed with high-flying artists of the likes of singer-songwriter/guitarist Ryo Hamamoto or Keitaimo, known famously as the former keyboardist of rock band BEAT CRUSADERS, former bassist/leader of progressive rock band MONGHANG, and currently leader of the 13 members progressive big brass band WUJA BIN BIN. The way in which each track is pushed forward to the very borderline of almost disrupting the standard style of pop songs is just so thrilling.
