April 20, 2025 was the street date of Intoxicate vol. 175 “Pastorale Silence”.

One of the concerts at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park has just been released on the discs, including visual and sound. “Exotic Grammar” introduces a cellist, Giovanni Sollima who finished his 100 Cello Concert ”Cello, Sing!” with great success, and Masakatsu Takagi who has released CDs, Marginalia VII known as his life long work and A Time to Sing which includes his song music written for the Studio Chizu, at the same time. In addition, Akira Ifukube, who celebrates his 110th birthday, is introduced. For his anniversary year, “King Ifukube Festival” is now ongoing. In May, the concert of his music is scheduled at Tokyo Opera City.

“Pick Up” collects such talented artists as Shutaro Matsui, who will give his performance with Siena Wind Orchestra, a new jazz pianist, Saki Ozawa, Romain Pilon, the guitarist favored by Lionel Loueke, and Tchavolo Schmitt, who is today’s Django Reinhardt, known as one of the best gypsy swing guitarist. Also, interviews with Ichiro Nodaira, Naoki Miyazato, and Ben Wendel of Kneebody are on the issue.
