ジョジョ立ちのアーティスト写真でも目を引く5人組が新ミニ作を完成。冒頭曲はストリングスや鍵盤を用いた豪奢なアレンジで、美メロも研磨した強力なナンバーだ。ほかにスクリーモ的な要素やトランシーなシンセを導入したヘヴィーで踊れるサウンドも備えている。だが、やはり特筆すべきはアニソンを含むJ-Popと対峙した、日本人の琴線を揺さぶるポップ感。そこでもっともバンドの本領が発揮されている。

Japanese quintet Kanojo in the display that attracts attention with its striking promotional picture where they stand in a signature JoJo's pose (“Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” –a hugely popular Japanese manga series) has completed a new mini-album. The opening track has a finely-honed, beautiful melody with gorgeous string and keyboard arrangements. The album also features a heavy danceable sound, incorporating screamo-influenced elements and trancy synth. Of special note is their pop sound given full attention to J-pop including anime songs, which strikes a chord in the hearts of Japanese people. It shows what stuff they are made of.
