The latest release following the previous album, "imitation of life" that was also released from US indies label, Drag City, has come out as a double album, - a Japanese disc (with lyrics by singer-songwriter, Kenta Maeno) and an English disc. Added to this unusual product makeup, the perfect lineup of enticing melodious and pop tunes, such as "Watashino Little Princess (meaning My Little Princess)" dressed with the lyrically featherlike touch and glamorous colors of the piano, is actually anything but predictable. The expansive breadth of the soundscape illustrated with her own band, Mo Shinda Hitotachi (meaning The Already Deceased) whom Jim O'Rourke is also a major member, adds to the splendor of this masterpiece.
