Spinning vinyls since the dawn of Japanese club culture, Sunaga Tatsuo hereby celebrates his 30th anniversary of his brilliant DJ career with this 1st original album in 5.5 years under his solo project tag, Sunaga t Experience. The most notable track in this latest album would be “DIRTY 30”, a piece featuring a mic-relay by the veteran 6 artists including MURO, ECD, Scha Dara Parr, and in which fantastic jazz rap freshly catches your ears in the break. Meanwhile, his regular specialty of cover versions of various others such as “Shikisai no Blues (meaning Color Blues)” by EGO WRAPPIN’ or “Ventura Highway” by America are alive and kicking, though every tune is tailored with his signature night-jazzy-ish mature chic arrangements. At the same time, his non-cover, original tracks deliver futuristic sound with a touch of tech house. While reviewing his great years with plenty of entertainment, this new album also pleasantly presents his latest mode as well.
