ナイン・インチ・ネイルズやサンO）））ら海外のアクトとの共演でも知られるトリオの新作。成田忍（4-D mode1）がサウンド・プロデュースを、中村宗一郎がミックスを担当し、重量感溢れるストーナー・ロック～ノイジーなシューゲイザー系のサウンドながらも、今作はそれぞれのパートの音の分離が良くなっていてメランコリックな旋律も埋もれていないのがいい。壮大なドラマのなかで悲哀と儚さを伝える“雨”が白眉だ。

The Japanese rock trio famous for their joint performances with internationally established artists such as Nine Inch Nails or SUNN O))) drops their latest album. Shinobu Narita of the electro unit (4-D mode1) serves as the sound producer and Soichiro Nakamura, the engineer of the psychedelic rock group Yura Yura Teikoku, does the mixes. Though the sound is geared towards weighty stoner rock or noisy shoegazer rock, the melancholic melodies are still afloat and alive in this album where the sounds of each part are segregated in a healthier way. In particular, "Ame (meaning Rain)" is an illustrious piece projecting the sorrow and vanity within an epic drama.
