旧友FILLMOREのWESTAHOLICに電撃加入し、最初のシングル“WINTER LOVE”を配信してからかなり待たされたが、この3年ぶりのアルバムも直球なリリックで不器用にストラグルを綴った期待通りの内容に。なかでもHI-Dを迎えた“Dream Chaser”の熱い語り口や、2パックの同名曲と同じテーマをAKASHINGOと歌った“Keep Ya Head Up”の優しい眼差しが印象的だ。FUEKISSやonodubらの重々しいファンクもいい。

Quite a while since his surprise joining to WESTAHOLIC (label led by legendary crew/good old fellow FILLMORE) and online release of his 1st single “WINTER LOVE” from the label, one of the main men in the Japanese local West Coast hip hop scene, DESTINO finally presents his new full-length album. 3 years from the previous, this latest release nicely delivers his usual straightforward lyrics telling ever-awkward struggles as expected. Especially to note are his passionate narrative in the impressive track “Dream Chaser feat. HI-D” and the gentle gaze in the track same-titled and same-themed as 2 pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up” which he sings with prominent artist AKASHINGO. Other heavy funk tunes with guest stars including FUEKISS and onodub, are really great as well.
