The 2nd mini-album from the foursome from Ishigaki Island of Okinawa is a pack full of super-happy tunes, paradise-bound via tropical islands! Including the upper ska tune, “Kanashimi wo Futtobase (meaning Brush Off Them Blues)” that welcomes members of Feisco, the rocksteady / reggae band for the horn section, the pure, free-and-easy singing of Tatsuyoshi Kida throughout the album spreads an exhilarating scenery just like a fleckless sky, right in front of the listener. The other laid-back tunes such as the impressively mellow "Weekend Magic" are also nothing but perfect. No denying of the impeccable talents of this promising band!
思わず〈ゴキゲン〉とか日常語彙にない言葉も飛び出しちゃう、ジャケそのまんまなパラダイス行きの一枚です。石垣島出身の4人組による2作目で、好天を祝するようなスカ・ナンバーからレイドバックしたナンバーまで、気の置けないノリの良さがサウンドに反映された雰囲気に後味もスッキリいい感じ。
