Amidst the already trending 'rock * idol' format and the bunch of bands alike, this would be by far the most cutting edge but yet classical piece of work in the field. "primal.2" is the group's first serious ballad with the memorable appearance of HISASHI of GLAY on guitar, which creates a pleasantly fresh contrast to the close-to-shocking edgy songs they have been performing in the past.
