ハロー!プロジェクトの〈演劇女子部〉によるミュージカルの劇中歌集が一般流通をスタート。キャストにはモーニング娘。'14の7名とスマイレージ全員が名を連ね、各々が配役に入り込んだ姿はいつもと違って新鮮なのですが、なかでも押し引き自在な田村芽実のドラマティック歌唱はやはり圧巻! 救いのない本編のゴシックなムードを壮麗に飾る、和田俊輔のポスト・クラシカルなアレンジも素晴らしいです。

LILIUM –Shojo Junketsu Kageki "Soundtrack"
The soundtrack of the musical by the Engeki Joshibu, the all-girls acting club under Hello! Project, has finally been made publicly available. Appearing in the cast are 7 members from Morning Musume。 and the full team of Smileage, and the way the girls are fully 'in to' their roles nicely shows a fresh and different side from the usual. Especially, the dramatic singing of Meimi Tamura from Smileage is absolutely impressive, proudly throwing down her full command of the 'oshihiki (push and pull)' singing techniques! ('oshihiki' = to intentionally create dramatic ups and downs of songs by, for instance, building momentum and then suddenly bringing the tone down etc.) The post-classical arrangements by Japanese composer/arranger Shunsuke Wada that sets the magnificent gothic mood of the beyond-all-help main story is also stunning.
