バンド史上最凶を誇った前作の重量感を更新するミニ作が到着。メタルコアなどを消化した彼らの最新サウンドであることは間違いないが、どことなく初期曲が持っていた湿度や閉塞感を感じさせる仕上がりに。かつて『MONSTER』と銘打った作品を発表した彼らだが、その怪物の輪郭がはっきりと縁取られ、多様な音の合成獣〈キメラ〉が見事に形となっている。繊細さも湛えつつ、壮絶な咆哮で締め括る“END”が胸を衝く。

girugamesh has delivered a new mini album that surpasses their previous work which is known as their most savage work in terms of heavyweightness. Though no doubt they have already digested and mastered music genres in the likes of metalcore, their newest sounds are tinged with the feeling of humidity and confinement that was also found in their earlier numbers. The band once released an album titled “MONSTER,” and now that monster has been given a clearly defined shape as a perfect , the monstrous hybrid creature composed of various sounds. The last track “END” which finishes up with tremendous roar, while also taking on a touch of delicateness, is truly impressive.
