不恰好だろうが、外野にどう言われようが、この声とサウンドの共鳴で生まれる昂ぶりこそが僕らの武器――そう開き直って宣言しているかのような、メジャーからのファースト・アルバム。全身全霊を焦がすようなシャウトとラウドなギターが暴れ狂う“nova”が冒頭にあることからもそうしたメッセージが感じられる。エレクトロニクスを駆使しながら静と動を行き来するスタイルは、ひとつの完成形を迎えた。

"Whether we are awkward or whatever the outfield may say, the flush of emotions borne from the resonance of this voice and this sound are our weapons." The Flickers' first major label album feels as though it defiantly declares this statement. This message can be felt from the opening track, "nova", which features shouts that burn the body and soul and loud guitars that go on a rampage. Their style that goes back and forth between static and dynamic makes full use of electronics and has celebrated a completed form.
