近年は多様なコンセプトのもとで作品を発表しているJazztronikだが、今回は架空のサントラをイメージしたインスト盤に。大編成の楽団をオーガナイズし、ストリングスが舞うワルツやロマンティックなタンゴ、流麗なジャズ、ネオ・クラシカルな趣のピアノ曲など、クラブ・ミュージック的なアプローチとは一線を画した楽曲を揃えている。劇伴を手掛けることで得たであろう成果をスマートに盛り込んだ意欲作だ。

Jazztronik has been pretty active in releasing works under a vast range of concepts in the past few years, and the latest follows likewise. This time, they have packaged an instrumental album imitating a fictional soundtrack. The lineup includes strings-twirling waltz, luscious tango, smooth-flowing jazz, piano tunes with a neo-classical touch, all delivered by a well-organized armada orchestra, - a fresh breather from the dance/electronic music approaches they are mostly known for. An ambitious piece of work smartly weaving in the accomplishments gained through their experiences of engaging in incidental music for theater.
