Nils Frahm has been working in top gear through various activities, such as releasing new works in collaboration with Ólafur Arnalds. Four years ago, while suffering a severe injury on his left thumb, Frahm released Screws, the collection of delicate piano numbers, which inspired many artists to re-mix those numbers and upload them to SoundCloud. This time, Frahm selected some of those re-mixed numbers by himself and made an album with them. This collection includes the lightheaded number with sounds given reverse effects, or the number in which the comfortable silence between the original delicate piano sounds is designed with even more pleasant sounds. Those works are re-mixed in various different ways to make them sound even better while conserving the originals’ atmosphere.
