昨年解散したFACTの元メンバー、ギタリストのKazukiとTakahiro、そしてヴォーカルのHiroが新バンドを始動。その初作は、なんと一発録りのライヴEPだ。インスト曲で幕を開ける本作は、余分な装飾を剥ぎ取り、裸一貫で勝負するという気概に満ちた一枚。血湧き肉躍るメロディック・ハードコアに焦点を当て、FACTのラスト作に通じる躍動的なグルーヴ感も発揮。パワフルな熱情ぶりにシビれる。

Formed by Kazuki(g), Takahiro(g) and Hiro(v) ―former members of rock band FACT (disbanded last year)―, the new band SHADOWS has made a debut with this “live” EP, an amazing piece that was incredibly recorded in just one single take. With the instrumental opening track and no excessive decorations throughout, the mini-album forcefully conveys their fully determined fresh start with an absolutely clean slate. Focusing on thrillingly exciting melodic hardcore, these 5 tracks successfully generate a tremendously dynamic groove that follows the manner of FACT’s last work. Powerful passion’s gotten us totally electrified.
