永田一直が主宰するExT初のロック・バンドとして、2013年に活動を再開したビイドロの新作が登場。近年のクラウトロック路線をさらに推し進め、演奏はよりミニマルに、音響処理はより繊細に進化していて、その最たる成果と言うべきサイケデリックな冒頭曲が抜群に素晴らしい。その一方では、ルーツにあたる90年代のUSインディー・ロック譲りのメランコリアも健在なのが、長年のファンには嬉しいところ。

Biidoro "Hiroba to Kotoba (meaning Open Space and Words)"
The first rock band to release their works from the record label ExT Recordings led by Kazunao Nagata (DJ/electronic musician) was Biidoro, releasing their first album since their comeback in 2013. The band is pressing forward their recent approach towards krautrock, turning their performance minimal with sound processing evolving towards delicate perfection. The outcome of their endeavors shows in the psychedelic opening track, -an outstanding masterpiece. Meanwhile their melancholic take on the 90’s US indie rock is still going strong, a great attribute for long time fans.
