"Living Behavior Fukashigi/Wonderboy Jinsei no Kiroku"

First movie directed by Kazuaki Seki documenting the life of the poetry rapper's ‘living behavior' is now available on DVD!
The documentary film "Living Behavior Fukashigi/Wonderboy Jinsei no Kiroku" was much talked about by many artists and prominent figures around the time it was premiered in theaters and documents the life of Fukashigi/Wonderboy, the poetry rapper who passed away in June 2011 at the age of 24. This first film directed by Kazuaki Seki, a video artist known for his music videos for Perfume (Japanese techno-pop girl group) among others, is now available on DVD.

Centered around the testimonials from the people the poetry rapper had personal in-life relationship with including Paranel, the musician who runs the record label LOW HIGH WHO?, poet Shuntaro Tanikawa, or beatmakers such as Yuji Otani and Kannnonn Creation, this work depicts his real-life story on screen together with his rare live footages. Perhaps it is the power of the words he left as an artist, or his favorable, somewhat immature behavior, or the impressive elocution of his close fellows, such elements intertwine with each other, illuminating the condensed, 3-dimensional 'life' of the late artist. Poetry rapper Godo’s version of "Pellicule" used in the closing credits is extremely moving. Pompous talk aside, just go ahead and watch the movie.
