メロウ・ハイとしての活動でも知られるオッド・フューチャーの中核メンバー、ドモ・ジェネシスのソロ・デビュー作。注目を集めているLAのシンガー、アンダーソン・パックをフィーチャーしたソウルフルでディスコティークなサウンドの先行曲“Dapper”も話題となったが（MVも素晴らしい!）、アルバムも全体的に同曲のソウルフルな路線を踏襲しつつ、いかにもLA産っぽいユルめな雰囲気とメロウなムードを漂わせた内容に仕上がっており、レイドバックした1曲目“Ankward Groove”から実に心地良い。元インターネットのテイ・ウォーカーが参加した“Wanderer”やJMSNを迎えての“My Own”といったシンガー勢とコラボした楽曲群は軒並み絶品だし、“Coming Back”に客演したマック・ミラーも歌うようなラップを聴かせてくれている。ウィズ・カリファ、ジューシーJ、タイラー・ザ・クリエイターと豪華にマイクをリレーする“Go（Gas）”なんて曲もあり。

Domo Genesis, the core member of the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future also belonging to the sub-group, MellowHigh, has released his solo debut studio album. The discotheque-style lead track “Dapper” (with its amazing music video) that featured the currently in-the-spotlight LA singer Anderson .Paak has caused a buzz, though in itself, the album carries an LA-ish chilled-ness with mellow moods, while still adhering to the soulful feel exemplified in the said track. The opening track on the album, “Awkward Groove” comes as a highly-pleasant laid-back tune, while tracks collaborating with singers such as “Wanderer” with ex-member of The Internet, Tay Walker, or “My Own” that welcomed JMSN are equally excellent, and in “Coming Back”, guest singer Mac Miller allures listeners with his sing-like rapping.
