ZAINICHI FUNK  "RAINBOW"

'Hospitality behind the sight' on "En No Shita No Chikara Mochi (meaning Unsung Hero)" and 'personality always comes next / it's appearance that counts' on "Kimi No Ii Tokoro (meaning Your Strength)," sings vocalist Kenta Hamano, putting a sly slant in the lyrics on the band's second major album, which offers their characteristic, staggering, joyous funk from the off. Of course, it also features bass solos by Keita Murakami at opportune moments. In contrast, there are some new dimensions to the band on the songs like "Sorezore No Uta (meaning Each One's Song)," the one guitarist Akihiko Ohgi directs with a sense of AOR and a pleasant vocal.
