J・A・シーザー待望の新録アルバムがついにリリース。寺山修司の少女詩集を基にした劇中歌を、新たに歌曲集のような体裁で再編。ヴォーカルに起用されたのは、女優として活動し近年のJ・A・シーザーリサイタルでも素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せる蜂谷眞未と石川詩織の2名。霊燕記や風見鶏のマリーなどリサイタルでもおなじみの楽曲も最新の録音で楽しめる。林静一によるイラストがジャケットを飾り、寺山修司×J・A・シーザーの化学反応がこれでもかと詰め込まれている。元が劇中歌だった音楽たちだが、舞台という視覚世界から解き放たれ独立した音楽作品として確固たる世界を築いた傑作。

J.A. Seazer “Terayama Shuji Gekichuka Shojo Shishu”
J.A. Seazer's eagerly-awaited newly-recorded album has finally been released. It is like a re-edited collection of songs in the play based on girls' poems written by Shuji Terayama (Japanese poet, dramatist, writer, film director, and photographer). Mami Hachiya and Shiori Ishikawa, the two actresses who gave great performances at the recent J.A. Seazer recitals, joined the album as vocalists. His standard repertoire for recitals, including “Reienki” or “Kazamidori no Marie”, are also available in the latest recorded version. With the artwork by Seiichi Hayashi (Japanese illustrator), the album is fully packed with favorable chemical reactions between Shuji Terayama and J.A. Seazer. Though originally songs in a play, they have successfully established themselves as full-fledged musical works liberated from the visual world of stage
