デビュー20周年を祝う約2年ぶりのオリジナル作。2012作『LUCK』のブリストル感のあるへヴィネスを引き継ぎつつ、4ピースのバンドらしいアンサンブルをシンプルに際立たせており、仄暗いメランコリアのなかからロマンが浮かび上がるような音世界は、どこかルー・リードに通じる趣も。何よりも、一切を飛び越えて胸を射抜くヴォーカルが凄すぎる。真摯なエモーションに裏打ちされた傑作だ。岸田繁の客演もアツい。

ACO has released an original album for the first time in two years to celebrate their 20th anniversary. While the band takes on its Bristolian heaviness from their 2012 album “LUCK,” their ensemble as a four piece band is highlighted in a simple manner, creating a romantic vibe from a dim and melancholic world of sound which shares some quality with Lou Reed. The vocalist’s ability to transcend everything and grasp the listener’s heart is simply amazing. It is a masterpiece lined by sincere emotion. Guest appearance made by Kishida Shigeru (the vocalist of the rock band Quruli) is also kicking.
