Owing to the rich ensemble with winds and percussion in place, the 5-piece city pop unit hereby unfolds the latest, further varied tunes on its 2nd full-length album. Upon digesting new generation jazz and black music, the opener track “Bunka no Hi” (meaning Culture Day) that seems to have incorporated the laid-back feel of The Band conveys the ultimate freshness. No doubt their vast music knowledge firmly sits behind the work, but they also come with a relaxing and comfortable, good sort of slackness that makes them wonderfully appealing. Indie folkstress Sachie Hiraga and other guest artists nicely support them as well!
