昨年はヴォーカルの瑞葵が澤野弘之やasobiusの作品に参加したことも話題となった4人組のセカンド・ミニ・アルバム。オルタナ寄りの重厚なアンサンブルに乗る瑞葵の歌声は、情念を感じさせながらも伸びやかで透明感があり、繊細に心象風景を描写した歌詞も含め、すでにバンドの世界観は揺るぎないものがある。女性フロントマンとして、きのこ帝国の佐藤やtricotの中嶋イッキュウらと共に頭ひとつ抜けた次代となるか。

Last year, Mizuki on the vocals made some sensational guest performance for musicians Hiroyuki Sawano (composer) and asobius (the rock band,) now this four-piece band has released a second mini album. A heavy ensemble that leans towards alternative rock with Mizuki's voice that embodies emotions with flexibility and clarity, along with lyrics that draws mental image with finesse, ITSUE has already formed their strong original style. As a female vocalist leading the band, ITSUE might be the cream that has risen to the top along with Sato from Kinoko Teikoku (the rock band) and Ikkyu Nakajima from tricot (the three-piece all girl rock band).
